Netview was founded in 2005 and develops white-labeled media clients.

We have one core product, the Netview Media Client SDK, which contains support of the most relevant media streaming and DRM industry standards. This SDK is delivered for any much used device (STBs & Connected TVs, Mobiles & Tablets) using a range of different integration methods (input-module, GStreamer, virtual server). The purpose is to make it easy for our customers, which include some of the leading companies in the industry, to handle any relevant media format on any device through a collaboration with us.

Netview is as of May 2012 fully owned by Opera Software ASA, a publicaly listed company headquatered in Oslo, Norway.
