Netview offers an SDK that brings support to mobile phones and tablets for the most used media formats, along with Microsoft's PlayReady DRM format:
- The Smooth Streaming format specified by Microsoft and used in their Silverlight platform.
- Apple's HLS format specified by Apple and used on their iPhone/iPad.
- ISO's new MPEG DASH format.
- The progressive streaming format MP4; used in YouTube, iPlayer etc.
- Microsoft PlayReady DRM.
It is delivered in two versions:
- As an input module to third party media player (targeted for device manufacturers, as well as browser and middleware vendors.)
- As a virtual server to be used in apps for iOS and Android 3.x. (targeted for app makers).
