Netview offers an SDK that brings support to Connected TVs and Set-top boxes for the most used media and DRM formats:
- The Smooth Streaming format specified by Microsoft and used in their Silverlight platform.
- Apple's HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) format, used on their iPhone/iPad.
- ISO's new MPEG DASH format.
- The progressive streaming format MP4; used in YouTube, iPlayer, etc.
- Can be used together with leading DRM-formats; Microsoft PlayReady is also resold through us.
Our solution is a separate software module utilizing media players already integrated in STB software stacks. It provides media support without requiring major integration work.
